NC 98 Wake Forest Bypass.  This bypass has been in the works in North Raleigh and Wake Forest for quite some time. This project is necessary to complete the four-lane, median divided Wake Forest Bypass. The work is being picked up just west of the U.S. 1 interchange and will connect to N.C. 98 just west of Thompson Mill RoadThis project is necessary to complete the four-lane, median divided Wake Forest Bypass. The work is being picked up just west of the U.S. 1 interchange and will connect to N.C. 98 just west of Thompson Mill Road.  This project is due to be complete August 2010.  The project will improve traffic flow and service, improve safety, and reduce conflicts between through traffic and local traffic along N.C. 98.

The City of Raleigh is pleased to announce plans and designs for the widening of Falls Of Neuse Rd. in Raleigh. The project begins at Raven Ridge and extends over the neuse river with a new crossing at New Falls Of Neuse in Wakefield.
